Bio

Mahlet Solomon is a Philadelphia-based photographer and content creator with over five years of experience in event and portrait photography. Inspired by her father, she developed a passion for visual storytelling, capturing emotions and preserving moments through her lens. Her work has earned recognition, including two Scholastic Art and Writing Awards and publication in The Chantilly Connection. Currently a sophomore at Drexel University, Mahlet is majoring in Finance and Business Analytics with a minor in UI/UX Design. This has pushed her to take on freelance projects, work with clients, and turn her creativity into something more. She is actively involved in the Drexel Economics Society Marketing Committee, where she also helps develop branding strategies and promotional content. Her experience extends to the Creative Arts team at Grace Covenant Church, where she worked on social media content, event photography, and community engagement initiatives.This role strengthened her ability to collaborate on creative projects and manage content for a large audience. Mahlet’s creative vision is driven by a desire to create impact and tell stories. She sees photography as a way to connect with people, capture meaningful moments, and inspire emotion through visuals. With every project, she strives to blend artistic expression with intentional storytelling, ensuring that each image serves a deeper purpose.
